Unit Description
Woodsmen are available to all factions from the forested north European provinces. They are basically peasants, with the morale and recruitment costs to match, but they are armed with large axes and have a very high charge rating. This makes them suitable as expendable flankers, capable of delivering a killing shock to armoured units from the flank or rear. They will die, but used properly they will inflict a lot of damage to high value enemy units.
Woodsmen trained in Lithuania get a +1 bonus to valour.
