Unit Description
The Catapult is the first serious artillery piece available in the Medieval campaign. It can be used against buildings and enemy units alike. The accuracy is not the best until the crew's valour improves, but it is good enough at the start to take down gates and walls.

The catapult projectile will bounce if it hits the ground. This can be used to skip the rock through enemy formations, disrupting and killing many men. When targeting the enemy, this bounce and the low accuracy should be kept in mind. Packed formations are ripe targets, while a lone unit is probably just a waste of rocks. Since it is an arcing trajectory, there is a minimum range at which the target can be hit.
