Unit Description
Beserkers can not be recruited, in the campaign they are available to rebel uprisings in Norway and Sweden during the Early period. Each unit has 12 men on default sizes, which is more than enough to cause problems for the enemy. They are Elite, Impetuous, fast, have no armour but carry a large shield, and are devastating in melee. Beserkers have excellent charge and attack values, and their morale is off the charts. They do not have an armour piercing attack, so they will be most effective against massed spears and other lightly armoured foes, they will get bogged down fighting heavily armoured units. Enemy missiles are their greatest problem, since they have no armour they are very susceptible and this is the most cost effective way to eliminate them as a threat.
