Unit Description
Slav Javelinmen are cheap javelin units available to any faction from most Central and Eastern European provinces. They are the typical javelin unit, fast and capable of doing serious damage to armoured units, but not very good in melee. Slav Javelinmen carry a small shield, but their overall melee ability is pretty dire.
Due to their short range, Slav Javelinmen should have skirmish turned off, or else they will not throw any javelins. They are best when run around to the flank or rear of a pinned enemy unit, giving them a direct line of fire and allowing them to charge once they have exhausted their javelins.
