Unit Description
Alan Mercenary Cavalry are, naturally, available only as mercenary units, they cannot be built. They are fast and lightly armoured, and should be used for quick strikes against missile units and to chase routers. They will not survive in combat against competent units, but they are better than many of the other fast cavalry units. Best utilized behind enemy lines attacking siege machines and keeping archers disrupted, but in a pinch can be used as flankers.
In siege battles, Alan Mercenary Cavalry may be dismounted for Archers.
