Unit Description
Viking Raider Cavalry are available during the Early period from the Scandinavian provinces. They are not as fast as the lighter cavalry, and not very capable in general. They will not survive in combat against competent units, but can be used to chase routers, to attack missile troops, and to attack siege machines.
In any battle, Viking Raider Cavalry may be dismounted for Viking Carls. This should be taken advantage of if cavalry is not needed, as Viking Carls are much better in combat than Raider Cavalry.
