The Baggala is the second level ship available to the Muslim factions and the Horde. It is not restricted to coastal waters like the Dhow, and will also stand up better in combat.
The Baggala is the only deep water vessel available in the Early era, the Catholic and Orthodox factions must wait until the High period to build their second level ship, the Caravel.
